(Hangzhou, China) October 1st, 2009.Quiksilver is set to sponsor Hanghzou’s biggest skateboard contest to date, The Battle at the Silver Dragon, from October 5th – 7th, 2009. The three day best trick contest will go down as part of the larger Surfing China 2009 Festival (organized and produced by GSM / Wabsono), which will welcome world class surfers to test their big wave surfing skills along the famed Silver Dragon, or Qian Tang River in Hangzhou. The three day Surfing China 2009 Festival will take place during the 60th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The Battle at the Silver Dragon is an open for all riders best trick contest, with cash prizes totaling 6000 RMB over the three day period. Skaters can choose to enter four different style contests, each with a top prize purse of 1500 RMB.
Hubba Hell –
Quarterpipe Craziness –
