Boby在SMP搞的第一个女子碗池比赛顺利结束, 9岁的台湾女孩Allison夺冠, 没有想到上海也有这么多girl skater, 还有专门为女孩子组织的比赛, 风生水起呀.
This Contest went extremely well and the high level of female skating.Tricks such as heelflips, shovits and grabs were done with hardly any effort at all. Most of the girls at the contest were street skaters. So they had to pretty much learn how to skate the bowl on the day.First place was taken by 9 year old Allison Meyer from Taiwan.
She landed every trick in both of her runs and was the most consistent skater of the day.
Not too farr behind was 22 year old Stevie Shi From Shanghai. She surprised the crowd with a sneeking fakie grab and grab to fakie.No one had seen her try these tricks in practice.In 3rd place was 24 year old Ban Mei. She mixed in some street tricks in her runs such as heel flips and shovits.
Prizes were donated by H1pnuz clothing, Pizza boy, Skull Candy and Nike SB.Bobby King from the USA was guest judge and 8 Year Chinese skateboard star Tony Gao was in charge of the stop watch and I did the annoucing.It was a great Contest and a proud day for Female skaters all over China.
Boby plan to do Female contest once a month so hopefully more girls will join in the next event.
