It’s crazy to think that the Nike SB x Paul Rodriguez partnership already up to model #7. Seems just like yesterday, he was introduced as the new Nike SB skater. Seven signature sneaker models later, we get what is probably his best pair yet.
Combining modern technology without losing the essence of the perfect skate shoe is what the Nike P-Rod 7 is all about.
First noticeable carry-over from previous models is the Nike Lunarlon sole. The 3/4 cushioning system is tailor-made for landing those varial kick-flips. Beneath that is a new herringbone-pattern outsole, for extra grip and flexibility.
On the inside, you can find a seamless inner booty, which is much more comfortable and have a smaller chance of tearing. The vulcanized construction and durable outer overlays are made to take a beating while staying flexible. Nike actually made an entire new last to shape the P-Rod 7 to be the best skate shoe you can buy.
I don’t even skate, but I will definitely be acquiring these. These will be the new “hotness”, especially in the red/black colorway.
