沸雪北京2013：索契冬奥会即将开启，单板项目种子选手齐聚北京，参与沸雪单板大赛为冬奥会备战：Kadono, Sandbech, Badertscher, Willett, Piiroinen, Kotsenburg, Helgason

世界单板巡回赛6星级赛事-2013沸雪单板大赛即将鸣锣开赛，众多索契冬奥会单板项目种子选手将齐聚北京参与此次赛事为冬奥会热身。本次沸雪单板大赛将在曾承办过2008年夏季奥林匹克奥运会的国家体育场-鸟巢举行，无论对选手、观众还是本次赛事来说，这都将是一个最佳的选择。

本次比赛对赛道进行了一定修改调整，将给予运动员更大的坡道空间，有助于他们更好的发挥个人技巧。同时，赛道高度和边缘距离，以及运动员完成动作后的着陆空间也较去年有所提升。这些赛道条件的改善，将更有利于运动员对于Double Corks及Triple Corks这些难度动作的发挥。在本次沸雪单板大赛中，我们极有可能会看到一些前所未见的动作技巧，这也会为即将在明年2月举办的索契冬奥会单板项目评分标准的制定提供一定的参考价值。

参赛种子选手介绍：

Stale Sandbech及Peetu Piroiinen，索契冬奥会的种子选手，2012年北京沸雪单板大赛的季军及亚军得主，将参与本次沸雪单板大赛的角逐。

Yuki Kadono，在2012年沸雪单板大赛中，以最终一轮的Triple Cork动作一举夺魁的日本小将，将继续参与本次比赛.

美国选手Eric Willett，2013沸雪单板大赛因斯布鲁克站的冠军。

挪威选手Ulrik Badertscher，2011年沸雪单板大赛冠军得主，希望能够通过参与本次赛事重写辉煌。

冰岛选手Halldor Helgason，在2011年沸雪单板大赛慕尼黑站比赛中一战成名，在经过两年的修整后，今年将带着自己标志性的动作重返沸雪赛场。

2012年沸雪单板大赛并列第四的三名选手，美国滑手Sage Kotsenburg，挪威滑手Gjermund Braaten，以及奥地利滑手Mathias Weissenbacher，也将加盟本次赛事。

参与本次大赛第一轮挑战的24名选手，将继续采用沸雪单板大赛著名的“硬碰硬”一对一挑战模式进行角逐，获胜的12名选手及4名幸运的失败者将晋级下一轮比赛。大赛的最终冠军将在晋级终极决赛的4名选手中产生，大赛冠军将获得代表沸雪单板大赛最高荣誉的荣耀之戒，世界单板巡回赛1000积分，以及100，000美元的现金奖励。

Air & Style Bejing 2013: The start of the olympic snowboard season brings a strong starter field to Beijing. – Kadono, Sandbech, Badertscher, Willett, Piiroinen,  Kotsenburg, Helgason

Innsbruck/Beijing 25th November 2013

There is  no better venue than Beijing's National Stadium – the Bird’s Nest of the olympic games five years ago – to start the olympic snowboard season with the Air & Style Beijing 2013 a 6 star competition of the the World  Snowboard Tour.

The new modified ramp gives all athletes even more space to perform their tricks. The inrun, landing and height of the ramp grew compared to last year’s setup. Perfect conditions to double and triple cork and maybe some previously unseen tricks will make it all the way to the olympic games in February.

Stale Sandbech the third placed of Beijing in 2012 and second placed Peetu Piroiinen are two of numerous olympioniques ready for the Air & Style Beijing 2013. Yuki Kadono, last year’s winner with a triple cork in his very last run returns and travels over the East China Sea. Eric Willett (USA), Air & Style Innsbruck 2013 champion, completes the field of last seasons dominant riders. Ulrik Badertscher (NOR) intends to enter a second title in Beijing after his victory in 2011. After a two year break Iceland’s Halldor Helgason (ISL) will be back to unpack some of his signature tricks that made him famous at the Air & Style Munich in 2011. Sage Kotsenburg (USA), Gjermund Braaten (NOR) and last year’s 4th placed Austrian Mathias Weissenbacher (AUT) complete the riders field.

From round one on all 24 riders will compete in Air & Style’s famous head-to-head duels. The 12 winners and 4 lucky losers will advance to the next round. The winner will be crowned in the superfinal with 4 remaining riders and receives the coveted Ring of Glory, 1.000 World Snowboard Tour points and the dragon’s share of the total prize money of 100,000 US$.
