A SKATING APE offers up a look at its inaugural collection with this Fall/Winter 2013 lookbook. Featuring Japanese skater Yoshifumi Egawa, the lookbook finds him skating through Tokyo as he rocks the latest looks.
Speaking of the looks, the clothes go heavy on the skate-inspired BAPE graphics designed by longtime designer SK8THING. Highlight pieces include the plaid windbreaker, the full zip-up hoodies, and graphic-emblazoned tees. The collection is set to hit A Bathing Ape boutiques on November 30.
For 2013 fall/winter, professional skateboarder and A SKATING APE collaborator Yoshifumi Egawa fronts the “A Skating Ape” video. Here, Egawa takes on the Tokyo cityscape, gliding through the bustling streets effortlessly. Clad in A SKATING APE’s winter offerings, Egawa models a number of graphic tees, while brightly lit zip-up hoodies and parkas are paired alongside well-fitted denim pants. Enlisting a pair of ABC CANVAS APE STA HIs to skate in, the clip shows this season’s stylish yet functional garments in homage to the cult label’s hometown.
