Los Angeles/CA, Innsbruck/Austria (January, 13 2014) Shaun White announced today that he has acquired the majority share of Austrian Air & Style Company GmbH. With this move White has laid the foundation in a planned expansion of the Air & Style event series to the Americas. Shaun’s passion for music will play a major role in the new concept with plans to add a musical lineup to the events. The current 2014/15 season of Air & Style has planned stops in Europe, China and the U.S.

1986年，Shaun Roger White在美国加利福尼亚州圣地亚哥出生。Shaun是先天性心脏血管畸形病患者，1岁时他就经历了两次大型手术。尽管生命在开始时充满了坎坷，Shaun却用事实证实了自己的坚不可摧，从很小的时候，他便开始投身冲浪、足球和滑雪等各项运动。 Shaun生长在一个五口之家，滑雪是家人最喜欢的娱乐方式之一。4岁那年，在进行全家的一次滑雪旅行时，无所畏惧的Shaun就敢和哥哥Jesse一起从山坡上直冲而下。在Shaun6岁时，妈妈想让他放慢速度，于是决定将他放在单板上，指导他像哥哥那样滑。但“不幸”的是，Jesse是右脚前，而Shaun是左脚前，所以他并没有从哥哥那里学到究竟该怎样滑雪，反而依靠自己天赋迅速掌握了单板的技巧，并在幼年时就已自学成才。而正当Shaun被人们誉为“单板神童”时，他又开始在滑板界崭露头角。 滑板职业运动员Tony Hawk将这个7岁的小男孩视为朋友，在滑板公园对这个后起之秀给予指导，不断给Shaun以鼓励，并帮助他在17岁时成为职业滑板运动员。迄今为止，Shaun是同时包揽X Games冬季和夏季赛事冠军的唯一选手。

About Shaun White:
Shaun White is a dual sport professional athlete who maintains some of the highest accolades within snowboarding and skateboarding. Shaun has amassed numerous titles and victories, most
notably gold medaling in both the 2006 & 2010 Winter Olympics. He holds the X-Games records for gold medals and highest overall medal count, has won 10 ESPY awards and is a two-time winner of the Air & Style.
Born in San Diego, California in 1986, Shaun Roger White endured two major surgeries to correct a heart defect before he was 1 years old. Despite this challenging start Shaun charged into sports like surfing, soccer and snowboarding at a young age. At 4 years old, Shaun was fearless on family ski trips, racing down the slopes with older brother Jesse. At age 6, in an attempt to slow down Shaun, his mom put him on a snowboard and instructed him to copy everything Jesse did. Jesse was “goofy” footed and Shaun “regular” footed, so as a result Shaun learned to ride switch and spin off of jumps “unnatural” which revealed his unprecedented skill on the board at a young age. While Shaun was being lauded as a snowboard prodigy, in the summertime he was turning heads on the skateboard scene. Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk befriended a 7-year-old Shaun and mentored the up- and-comer. Shaun turned pro in skateboarding at the age of 17. Today Shaun is the only person to win Gold at both Winter and Summer X Games.
Shaun has earned the number two spot on Bloomberg BusinessWeek's list of 100 most powerful and marketable athletes, as well as being ranked on the prestigious Forbes Fab 40: The World's Most Valuable Sports Brands as the 10th most valuable athlete. In 2012 Shaun was honored for his work with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the GQ Gentleman's Ball, where he also received the Style Award.
Shaun is an active supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Target House, the Make-A- Wish Foundation, Boys and Girls Club and the Tony Hawk Foundation.
