(Skate And The City LA: Ep. 1): Pro Skater Terry Kennedy shows how music, fashion and skateboarding all intertwine on the streets of Los Angeles. Original Z-Boy Nathan Pratt meets up with Terry at the Venice Beach Skatepark to share a history lesson on skateboarding’s early years and his thoughts on how the past influences current styles. Terry hits up Stoner Skatepark, a modern street-plaza style park in West LA, with Kevin Romar and Tristan “T-Funk” Funkhouser and drops some knowledge on LA’s skateparks. Next Terry meets up with LA rapper Kid Ink to hear what hypes him up about his hometown. The crew tours the streetwear fashion boutiques on Fairfax Avenue—Supreme, Crooks & Castles and DGK to name a few. DGK founder Stevie Williams fills us in on the scene on Fairfax Ave. Skate And The City continues in Long Beach next Wednesday on Network A.
