RUST BELT BOON

cons video
@CONVERSE滑板 队伍发布新片:RUST BELT BOON,CONS队员Mike Anderson, Zered Bassett等人寻找到了美国上世纪六、七十年代留下的废弃场所,在那些残破的机械上大秀脚法

In the 60s and 70s, as America’s manufacturing and industrial complex came apart at its rusty fasteners, the Rust Belt was born—wide awake and never to sleep again—and for the last 50 years it’s slowly worn itself down to a corroded nub.

But what’s old is new again. And as skaters begin to encounter the former glory of the region, they are compelled to interact with the leftover landscape—lots of all-terrain skating and lots of Rust Belt crust. Not reinventing the wheel, not kicking over headstones, just bringing crews together and making good magic from the bad science of an abandoned infrastructure. Watch as Mike Anderson, Zered Bassett, Jake Johnson, Al Davis, and Aaron Herrington make new use of old spots.
