Nightlines is a film inspired by the raw energy of summer nights, 90’s skate films, New York City and the One Star. Over a sweltering few weeks in NYC this summer the Converse skate team took to the streets to collect nightlines.

Nightime is when skaters can avoid security, crowds and the heat and nightlines are the perfect iconic way to capture this moment. It is at night that skaters own the streets. As those of us in the Northern Hemisphere head towards the cold of winter it’s a nice reminder of summer and an inspiration to skate the night.
This film is the beginning of a two month long celebration of nightlines by Converse Cons. Converse will continue to showcase nightlines from our team members around the globe and from amateur riders who share their Nightlines with us on our Converse_Cons Instagram channel.
Sonic Youth’s “Bull in Heather” from Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star is a perfect reminder of NYC in the 90’s which continues to inspire our team and products like the One Star Pro featured throughout Nightlines.
The film stars Mike Anderson, Aaron Herrington, Don "Nuge” Nguyen, Sage Elsesser, Sean Pablo, Louie Lopez, Eli Reed and Zered Bassett from the Cons Global Skate Team. The film features Al Davis, Brian DelaTorre and Ben Kadow.
