Vans 很高兴再次与马来西亚滑板传奇人物 Pa'din Musa 合作，推出联名系列及三集个人纪录片《Selamanya Skateboarding》，为 Vans 马来西亚滑手、改装车店/品牌 Abah&Sons 带来一份不容错过的礼物。
Vans is proud to present the second collaboration collection with Malaysia’s living skateboarding legend, Pa’din Musa, serving up Malaysian skateboarding, custom culture and sneaker fans with something they can’t miss out on.

2017 年，Pa'din Musa 从其痴迷的复古赛车服和经典改装摩托中汲取灵感，设计了与 Vans 首次联名鞋履，获得了众多好评。
今年，Vans 和 Pa'din 再度携手合作，共同设计发布了 Skate Slip-On、Skate Sk8-Hi 和 Skate Old Skool 三双鞋款，纪念马来西亚本土滑板社群和摩托车改装创意表达先锋们。
Following up a successful campaign for Pa’din Musa’s debut shoe release in 2017 with inspiration drawn from his obsession of vintage racing jerseys and old school custom bikes (which sold out on the first day of its release), this time around Vans and Pa’din have teamed up to release the Skate Slip-On, Skate Sk8-Hi, and Skate Old Skool to celebrate the aforementioned local skateboarding and custom bike personality’s. Aptly dubbed ‘The Endless Ride’ collection, all 3 iconic models promise durability, trustworthiness and devil-may-care attitude when stepped into, with a respectful nod to the Penang flag, Pa’din’s hometown. These 3 of a kind silhouettes carry unwavering spirit, the same elements one would find in a skateboarder or a custom bike enthusiast – they’re built to keep the journey going.
此次联名的三双鞋款被命名为“The Endless Ride”（滑无止境）系列，正贴合鞋款经久耐用，可以提供值得信赖的穿着使用体验的特点；同时鞋身颜色的选择则是向 Pa'din 的故乡—槟城的旗帜致敬。
This second Vans x Pa’din Musa capsule pack offers the Skate Slip-on, Skate SK8-Hi and Skate Old Skool with details paying homage to Pa’din’s beloved hometown, the wonderful state of Pulau Pinang. All 3 silhouettes sport the colour blue in suede, a representation of the water that surrounds the island, with stripes of yellow and white that symbolise peace and tranquillity. Honouring Pa’din’s legacy as a true hard-blooded skater, a touch of red is visible as the foxing tape for that classic Vans look.

The rubber sole on Pa’din Musa’s shoe collection further celebrates his love of being on the open road with custom debossed tire tracks made out of SickStick™ rubber with the Duracap finishing, while the inner PopCush™ footbeds feature an x-ray scan of his metatarsal on the right foot that was once broken due to a skateboarding incident after 30 years of skating. Embroidered on the heel counter is the legendary skater’s signature initials.

影片展示了 Pa'din Musa 在板上和板下的生活。在影片中，Pa'din 重温了那些让他成为滑板传奇的著名地形，也讲述了在职业生涯决定性时刻背后的动作和挑战，并在二十多年后再次尝试了部分地形。

A 3-part mini-documentary directed by Mark Khor, titled ‘Selamanya Skateboarding’ serves as another visual treat for this campaign, showcasing Pa'din Musa’s life on and off the board. In the episodes, Pa’din takes us down memory lane and revisits the infamous spots that made him the skateboarding legend that he is today, opening up tales about the tricks and battles behind these career-defining moments and giving some of them another go twenty plus years later. The grind never stops for Pa’din, as the docu-series drops weekly on the 9th, 13th and 23rd of February 2024 on Vans Malaysia’s and Pa’din Musa’s social platforms. Fans can tune in for the full video beginning 23rd February 2024 via 4OR Media’s Youtube Channel.
