VISION has partnered with Mark Oblow on a limited-edition capsule collection celebrating the Year of the Snake, featuring the CHOPPER shoe.

If you’re not familiar with Mark Oblow, you need to get familiar. This California resident is a multi-talented individual – a skater, photographer, and artist, and even served as a mentor to the iconic Dylan Rieder. He previously rode for Vision and has since worked with prominent brands such as Quicksilver, adidas, and RVCA. During his time as a photographer for adidas, he captured images of celebrities like David Beckham, Snoop Dogg, and Eddie Peng. We had the opportunity to interview him years ago and even visited his home a couple of years back; his residence is akin to a small museum, filled with an impressive collection.
Regarding the collaboration shoes – limited to just 299 pairs, they sold out in approximately one day! We didn’t even have time to post about the release!
The shoes are now being resold online for prices starting at ¥999, with select sizes reaching as high as ¥1889! It’s wild!

For the Year of the Snake, the CHOPPER comes in a red colorway, with subtle snakeskin detailing on the sides. The logos get a raised TPU treatment in red and yellow, making them pop like snake eyes.
因为是迎接农历蛇年，本次 CHOPPER 鞋款采用红色配色，蛇纹装饰也是若隐若现出现在鞋身两侧。两侧的 logo 则以 TPU 凸起设计，红黄配色使其更像一对蛇的眼睛。
The VISION STREET WEAR logo on the tongue is accompanied by a dope little gentleman snake wearing a hat – that's straight up Mark Oblow's signature. This collab logo is also featured on the box. And get this, the box also rocks a heavy message: “IT'S NOT JUST A NAME, IT'S A CHOICE OF FREEDOM.” It’s almost Chinese New Year, who’s gonna drop a fire couplet? Let’s battle!
鞋舌上的 VISION STREET WEAR logo 则盘上了一条戴着帽子的可爱绅士小蛇，这便是 Mark Oblow 的经典创作元素。
该合作 logo 也出现在鞋盒上。值得一提的是，鞋盒上还印有一句特别的话：“IT'S NOT JUST A NAME, IT'S A CHOICE OF FREEDOM.”要过年了，谁来给对个下联？
Besides the heavy kicks, the capsule collection also includes long-sleeves, hoodies, beanies, and tote bags – each in two colorways!
除了重磅鞋款，本次胶囊系列还有长袖T恤，卫衣，毛线帽和帆布袋——每款均有两色！
Plus, the beanies are reversible – you can rock them two ways for different vibes! The long-sleeves are made with super comfy, buttery-soft French terry, and the hoodies are next level, with heathered yarns and speckled fleece – the details are dialed up to 11! And to top it off, they even dropped a kids’ line so the whole family can stunt in matching gear for the new year!
并且毛线帽可以双面佩戴，长袖选用软糯汗布，卫衣上更有花纱和彩点抓绒，绝对都是细节满满了。同时，服饰还有儿童系列推出，也是主打一个齐齐整整过大年。
